Representing the Triple Goddess, the Priestess sits with her arms in supplication to the Moon, manifesting the Divine Feminine within. She is our gateway to the unconscious realm, our nonphysical aspect of Self. Full of inspiration, the Priestess serves as the wise counselor, possessing inner wisdom and secret knowledge. Intensely perceptive, her eyes are covered as she relies on inner vision to guide her path.

Manifestation into form is felt with Uruz, the second rune of the Elder Futhark. A rune of Elemental Water, Uruz is considered the rune of changes. Representing the aurochs, Uruz denotes strength and vitality, endurance and courage. Its horns point downward as the rune of creative energy, sudden change possible as our will shapes matter into form.

The return of the Divine Feminine is an interesting notion because it assumes we lost it somehow when the male side of the species became more dominant. Although the Divine Feminine has never truly left us, manifesting aggression in an effort to oppress others became more advantageous than compassion and community. Entitlement overtook the world and has remained in control ever since.

Instead of thoughtful discourse, we’ve become all too willing to throw red meat at the wall to see what sticks. Facts have ceased to matter in a world where lies have become the norm, integrity replaced by whatever it takes to win.

The truth was there all along, had we paid attention to the Priestess, our wise inner voice. Had we listened, we might have manifested dignity and compassionate presence, instead of ego run amok. And now we wait, as does the Priestess, going within, relying on inner vision to tell us what we already know.

Manifesting the Divine Feminine means that we allow love and compassion to guide what we offer others. The Priestess as Higher Self, as Wise Woman, as Goddess Presence, calms aggression, infusing all with wisdom and grace. And it’s that peace, that unity, that is sorely needed today.

The numerology of the reading is 4, or foundation, structure, and Gaia energy. Whatever the current situation, Uruz gives us the power to manifest a better future, one that’s based on love and compassion for others. Our thoughts create the world we experience. The Priestess counsels us to trust our inner sight, our inner voice of Source Presence, and manifest our world from that place of Divine wisdom and grace. Uruz gives us the strength to do just that.

Blessed Be
