Eihwaz is the rune of rebirth, protection and knowledge. A masculine energy rune, Eihwaz encourages us to accept truth and to face our inner demons. Owning our own stuff, then, is the theme for today.

All Elemental energies are present in Eihwaz, representing Yggdrassil, the Tree of Life, as we go forth as a conduit between Spirit and Gaia, allowing our spiritual essence to flow unhindered. As we focus into whatever creative endeavor we choose, Eihwaz guards against destructive behavior, brings problems to resolution, and increases longevity.

Tarot correspondences include Death, Chariot, The Devil, and the Hanged Man. Additional correspondences include smoky quartz crystals; yew, hemlock and beech trees; its colors are dark blue and dark green; its numerology is 13; and, it has no reversed position.

Mackical workings center around problem solving, ending situations, increasing strength, confidence and stamina, clarity, and facing inner fears. Protection from self and others is also enhanced with Eihwaz. The Hunter rune, Eihwaz can assist in attaining an objective such as finding lost objects, surviving challenging situations, and job hunting.

Eihwaz allows us to stand in our own power, irrespective of our surrounding circumstances. It demonstrates that we are indeed the focal point between Spirit and the earth, focusing into an amazing existence while remaining continually aligned with Source, staying true to our One Self.
