Drama is everywhere. All you have to do is turn on the news, or go on social media, and there’s always something there to pull you in. I find myself switching the channel when watching the news because it’s become so repetitive. It must be a side effect of practicing conscious alignment because it’s hard to stay focused on drama when doing so brings that inevitable pull to the sticky icky. I feel that pull of energy as it happens, and it doesn’t feel good. It feels dense, foggy, as if there’s no life there, only distorted memory. Creativity flows from the now, not from someone’s perception of the past, even your own.

I used to drive my husband crazy when I would say things like, the details don’t matter, only the overall picture or premise does. The details are just filler. It could be anything. Currently in his own process of conscious alignment, he now understands what I was talking about. It must have been confusing living with a wife who said things like, if you name something, you limit it, along with my standard comment, we give everything the meaning it has. I was a Course student (which he knew) and an empath/witch (which I didn’t specifically identify myself as, although hints were dropped and he did notice more than a few things along the way). He’d give me a look that said, where am I supposed to go with that? Eventually, I explained some truths about myself, realizing I had probably taken the “if you name it” idea too far. Sometimes it’s easier if you simply live your life instead of putting a label on it. Which is what I did, until I didn’t.

We’re collectively participating in our own re-awakening to who we are as energetic beings, extensions of Source in physical form. The feeling of connection is expanding all over the earth. The frequency is rising and if we let it, it will carry us forward to a more compassionate world. Choosing to stay in the distorted memory of the world brings resistance to your experience, whereas staying in the flow of alignment results in a more loving expression. We need to both create and experience joy. It’s part of our natural state of being. More and more, people want harmony with others to replace chaos. The others are still there as well, preferring conflict to community. They remind us daily of the pull toward the negative side of the equation. The side where compassion for others appears missing as they hold fast to separation created by a focus on the past. Judgment weaves it’s messiness throughout all of it, and you can see where it goes from there. It’s the sticky icky. Even describing it creates sticky momentum. It’s like, oh don’t leave, let’s talk about that some more. And the sticky icky momentum continues to build. Except the past is over and we can stop living there.

I think we begin that shift to expressing ourselves from our true self, in lieu of the projected one, when we realize we’re never separated from our Source, or God. I say Source or Source Energy because for me it indicates the first cause spoken about in A Course in Miracles and reflects a balance of masculine and feminine energies. From that standpoint, we are the effects of Source, or the effects of first cause. Saying, Source or God Is, is really all that anyone needs to say, because it says everything. We simply are when we’re in non-physical form, energy merging as one. Why should that change in the physical realm? Why shouldn’t the basic, overall premise of who we are continue while in physical bodies?

We ARE a loving, co-creating presence focusing in to these physical bodies to join together and share in our co-creation. Staying in the flow, in resonance with our Source within, allows the creative expression to coalesce into something positive and beneficial. We’re meant to live in harmony. We’re meant to remember who we are. It’s okay to let go of the past because it’s just filler anyway. We can fill the future with the unified presence that we are. We feel better when we project from our alignment with Source and not in reaction to whatever seems to be happening around us. Reacting tends to be fairly subjective and narrows the full picture into whatever you’ve decided that it is..that naming thing again. Resistance keeps those definitions firmly in place to the point that it’s amazing that anything gets accomplished let alone any forgiveness offered. There’s no life there, no creative energy. There’s only circling around again and again, re-litigating the past in some fashion. Letting go of that focus releases tension, allowing the creative self to emerge and flow without resistance.

Maybe all we can really do is to hold our own resonance, not allowing the drama around us to find a foothold in our awareness. If drama finds no purchase, it dissipates as we continue to move forward in a co-creative manner with each other, our focus undeterred, giving drama no lasting attention. And as that momentum builds, where it goes from there is limited only by our creativity. And since we’re one with Source, that’s endless.
