• Lunar position ~ Virgo until Libra at 4:02 PM PST – Spend some time organizing your schedule and focusing on routine tasks until the Moon travels into Libra in the latter part of the afternoon. Your leadership skills may come into play as you network with others and make plans for the future (Moon trine both Jupiter and Saturn). However, be sure to take time for yourself if your emotions are in flux or your balance seems off (Moon square the Ascendant).   • Sun (9th/Sagittarius) trine Mars (1st/Aries) – involves expressions of self-confidence and goal achievement
  • Sun (9th/Sagittarius) conjunct the Midheaven (10th/Sagittarius) – involves legacy and career choice
  • Jupiter (12th/Capricorn) conjunct Saturn (12th/Capricorn) – the balance between personal life and expanding career potential
  • Jupiter (12th/Capricorn) conjunct Pluto (12th Hs/Capricorn) – enthusiasm in balance with ego expression

• Rays ~ The The 6th Ray of devotion and idealism has overtaken all other Rays signaling the ability to inspire others. That said, it also suggests the tendency toward rigidity and fanaticism in that regard. This is an emotional time for many and objectivity may be at a minimum especially with the 4th Ray of harmony through conflict less of an influence. Typically, the 2nd Ray of love and wisdom, if balanced with the 6th Ray, tempers the fanatical side of the influence, but with it somewhat less of an influence today, that may not be enough to keep cult-like devotion in check. The 5th Ray of concrete knowledge and science has decreased in its influence so again, research-based objectivity may not override an out of control 6th Ray. The 1st Ray of will/power is also less today suggesting that the will is either not strong enough to manage extreme behavior, or it could also indicate a risk-averse attitude. A decrease in 7th Ray influences suggests that a more egoic manifestation of behavior is possible.
• Black Moon Lilith ~ Taurus — remaining in your comfort zone is tempting, but it also signals an unwillingness to take risks toward a better outcome. In the 2nd House of money and resources, the risk may involve the management of financial success.
• Node influences ~ N Node – Gemini; S Node – Sagittarius describes the need for self-control and a focus on a spiritual perspective. The challenge involves understanding the viewpoints of others as well as expressing your own in a helpful manner. Avoid self-defeating behavior. An opposition between the Sun and the North Node encourages learning from one’s mistakes while a sextile between Mars and the North Node suggests self-assertion is favored when seeking new opportunities. And a square continues between Neptune and both the North and South Nodes signaling a focus on fantasy or imagination and suggests that maintaining your physical health will help ground and center your perspective and provide a foundation for creative success.
