Tuesday is governed by Mars. Below are its corresponding energies as well as the current transit chart for the witch’s perusal. ~ et incipit magia

- Night – spirituality, aligning with Spirit, healing, dreamwork, visions
- Favorable/Unfavorable for Magick ~ excellent – Use Hagalaz to tear down barriers and create a new path. Include the catalytic presence of Mars on the altar for extra emphasis using crystals such as amethyst, jasper, and bloodstone. If you use lodestones on your altar or in workings, don’t forget to feed them with some iron filings if you haven’t done so in a while to increase their magnetic effect. Burn basil or nettle in the cauldron for courage and self-empowerment or include both along with a thorn from a Hawthorn tree branch in a mojo bag for the same purpose. Wormwood may be helpful as well.

It implies the awareness of our collective harmony and the expression of family in our lives.

- Mars semisquare The Ascendant – describes the need for patience and when to control and when to allow (weaker influence)
- Jupiter sextile The Ascendant – indicates a compassionate and inspiring attitude that will attract attention from others
- Black Moon Lilith ~ Taurus — remaining in your comfort zone is tempting, but it also signals an unwillingness to take risks toward a better outcome. In the 1st House of self and identity, the risk may involve containing the darker aspects of self and the control of one’s ego that may impact self-expression. Lilith’s weaker square with Jupiter cautions against excessive behavior.

- Polarity – Masculine (10), Feminine (13) – receptive energies of compassion, reflection, and tolerance are favored today
- Elemental Influence ~ Earth (material concerns) and Air (intellect, reason, balance, communication) provide the strongest influence with Water (emotions, empathy) and Fire (will, creativity, motivation) next in influence today. Creativity may be impacted today.
- Energetic Sign Quality/Mode ~ Motivating Cardinal sign qualities are the strongest today. Mutable and Fixed sign qualities are less suggesting that flexibility may be challenging today.
- Rays ~ The 2nd Ray of love and wisdom along with the 6th Ray of devotion and idealism present the strongest Ray influences today signaling a focus on asserting one’s ideals. The fact that they’re both at the same strength indicates that wisdom will balance any extremist thought patterns or behavior. The 1st Ray of will and power, 3rd Ray of active intelligence, and the 7th Ray of ceremonial order and magick are next in strength and in balance with each other suggesting that truth is favored and organized in a way that can be presented to others. That said, with the 4th Ray of harmony through conflict less of an influence, achieving a shared understanding may prove challenging.
