Magickal focus ~ Venus governs, compassion, love, harmony, attracting a partner, partnership issues, female sexuality, fertility, healing, friendship

Time

  • Dawn – healing, new beginnings, study, purification
  • Noon – strength, opportunity, success, protection, wealth
  • Sunset – letting go, release
  • Night – spirituality, aligning with Spirit, healing, dreamwork, visions

Favorable/Unfavorable for Magick ~ neutral – note the significant semisquare between the Sun and Mars and work a spell to increase diplomacy with others. Observe the effect of Eris on Lilith energy and how that impacts interactions as well. Burn sandalwood in a small cauldron or censer and include rose quartz on the altar to improve harmony.

Rune Divination ~ Raidho, Othala, and Mannaz comprise today’s rune divination signaling positive integration with others. Raidho describes integrated harmonious movement and momentum. Similar to the relationship between a rider and her horse, with Raidho we’re able to move forward with others on a shared path. Mannaz also embraces this energy but on a community or societal level and it suggests that a greater level of harmony is possible. Both give rise to the collective tradition of Othala, its shape describing both humanity’s birth (Inguz) and the greater harmony within which we exist (Gebo). So, although this divination can indicate harmony as a more personal experience, it also signals something greater is about to occur. A greater truth may be revealed that shifts perceptions to a more integrated understanding.

  • 2nd (love/wisdom) – strong impact – unconditional love, compassion, and understanding are easily offered to others
  • 3rd (active intelligence) – medium impact – adaptability to new ideas is experienced but may need reinforcement
  • 4th (harmony through conflict) – medium impact – signals that understanding cause and effect may be challenging and mediation may not go smoothly
  • 5th (concrete knowledge and science) – medium impact – suggests that scientific knowledge is having a lesser impact on our decisions or has found integration within the same and isn’t as much of a factor given its general acceptance; intolerance of new discoveries may occur.
  • 6th (devotion/idealism) – strong impact – The 6th Ray of devotion and idealism is a tricky influence in that if the 2nd Ray is less, we typically see an increase in gullibility and a single-minded approach. In other words, too much ideology or too much devotion affects our ability to view our experiences or beliefs in a realistic manner. That it has increased today is troubling but with the 2nd Ray still having a stronger effect, the more delusional aspects of this effect may be kept under control.
