Favorable/Unfavorable for Magick ~ excellent – create a mojo bag today to carry with you during challenging interactions with others. This is especially prescient give Mercury’s retrograde path right now. Sometimes self-expression is affected during this time so it’s a good time to revisit how we do that. I like citrine and fluorite so tend to include a small piece of each when creating a mojo bag for improved communication. I’ve also included lapis lazuli (although not part of the crystal correspondences below) to align with the throat chakra. Pinches of lavender, and hyssop can be added as can a whole piece of star anise. Lavender increases clarity and improves communication while airy hyssop cleanses and protects. Add a piece of star anise (whole) to the bag to foster greater understanding and add the rune Ansuz for clarity and eloquence. You can draw Ansuz on a small piece of paper, roll it up in scroll-fashion and tie it with a small yellow or purple cord and place it in the bag. I use small drawstring muslin bags but a small swatch of fabric may be used as well. With the swatch you’ll need to tie it off to close it and again, you can use a yellow or purple cord to do that if you like. But before you close things up, sprinkle a little frankincense for revelation and healing over the mixture and then seal up the bag. Hold the finished mojo bag in your hand and bless and consecrate it for its intended purpose and then carry it with you when needed.

Rune Divination ~ Uruz, Algiz, and Berkano comprise today’s rune divination where healing and new beginnings are manifested. Earthy Berkano offers both with new beginnings expressed by fertility, a birth, or bringing something such as a project to fruition or completion. It’s the idea of birthing something irrespective of what that is. Algiz offers protection and the link between Higher Self and physical form/ego, drawing in Spirit blessings into our perceptions and behavior. Uruz is the manifesting force behind all of that. It’s not that Uruz manifests something directly, but given that everything is manifested thought, it’s the thought process behind the manifestation leaving the manifestation itself to Berkano. So, be mindful of where your thoughts take you today and be sure that they begin in Spirit.
