Magickal focus ~  Mercury governs, communication, interactions, balance, justice, revelation

  • Dawn – healing, new beginnings, study, purification
  • Noon – strength, opportunity, success, protection, wealth
  • Sunset – letting go, release
  • Night – spirituality, aligning with Spirit, healing, dreamwork, visions

Favorable/Unfavorable for Magick ~ excellent – with Mercury governing today, magicks worked can focus on revealing truth. With so much deception still going on, an influence working that takes your awareness above the planet might be useful today. As the world continues to deal with the pandemic, it seems that deception is at the heart of it all. So get comfortable and enter a trance state. With some frankincense burning, move your awareness to above the earth where you call in other energies, spirits, astral entities, etc. to assist you in raising the vibration of everyone on the planet to align with the collective consciousness and away from the ego’s influence. Influencing awareness in this manner doesn’t judge anyone for their beliefs but targets the astral or Higher Self aspect of who they are to shift their consciousness to a more truthful understanding. What you’re really doing here is reminding each individual that a higher truth exists outside of the ego’s awareness, one that is less reactive and potentially destructive. Visualize all individuals becoming still and receptive to Higher Self awareness. Feel each one become lighter and less dense as they leave the ego’s controlling influence for the greater understanding only the soul and the collective consciousness can provide. Remain in that shared resonance for as long as you like and when ready, return to full consciousness. We all know the truth from the standpoint of the collective consciousness. The issue is to remember that and not become distracted by the ego while in physical form. This book might be helpful as a reference.

Rune Divination ~ Isa, Sowilo, and Othala comprise today’s rune divination where we control the expression of will for the purpose of protection. A lack of impulse control may be at the heart of this reading with Sowilo illuminating the issue while Isa controls the response. Othala, as the rune of inheritance and legacy, defines all that is at stake. This is likely about the new COVID variant that is spiking up all over the country leading cities to reinstate their mask policies when out and about. Still, large gatherings of people are continuing to occur, putting everyone at risk of becoming ill. Othala asks us to consider what it is that we leave behind for others. What foundation do we establish, what legacy do we leave? Is it one that ignores the truth, or will our legacy be that we acted with determination and resolve to protect both self and others from a deadly virus? This rune divination would seem to suggest that it’s time to wake up and do the right thing.
