Raidho implies integration with others and the journey we take together. The process itself is more important with Raidho that is the ultimate goal. So it asks us to consider how well we relate to others in a harmonious manner.
Berkano involves family, growth, and healing. Its Earth element influence focuses on protection and new beginnings and reinforces Raidho’s integration with others.
Thurisaz, Thor’s rune, breaks through barriers to success and controls impulsiveness. It asks us to stand against opposition that isn’t in service to safety and protection. So, ideally, Thurisaz focuses the will in a manner that preserves Raidho’s integration and harmony with others.
Berkano reminds us of the importance of family and the fundamental unity we share. It helps us to look at the truth of the situation and then have the strength to set aside personal issues so that at least a conversation can take place.

Energetic Influences
Polarity: The feminine (receptive) side of self is having the greatest influence suggesting compassion, empathy, and understanding are having the strongest impact today.
Elemental Influence: Earth (material concerns, physical presence) provides the strongest elemental influence today with Water (emotions, compassion, empathy) next in strength. Fire (will, creativity, motivation) follows with Air (intellect, reason, justice, interaction) having the least influence.
Ray Influences: The effect of the seven cosmic Rays essentially impacts the soul/ego balance at any given moment. As the Rays move through the universe and ultimately reach each individual, they color (or influence) our perceptions and behavior. If we perceive our experiences from a soul perspective, then our overall perspective resonates from a higher vibration; whereas, if we react from the standpoint of ego, our resonance becomes lower and more reactive.
The continuing strength of the 1st Ray on the expression of will and power suggests that motivation and expressions of will continue to impact your perceptions and choices. In addition, the current strength of the 2nd Ray influence of love and wisdom indicates that empathy and understanding continue to be significantly less today, and along with the increased impact of the 4th Ray energy of harmony through conflict, it suggests that you may be less willing to collaborate with others or be sensitive to their needs.
Although the strength of the 3rd Ray of active intelligence has decreased slightly, it still indicates that the ability to process information intellectually is strong today, and in conjunction with the increasing influence of the 5th Ray on scientific knowledge, science-based truth may have more of an impact on your perceptions and decisions. And with the 6th Ray of devotion and idealism increasing, the current fixation on ideology may be stronger today.
Finally, the 7th Ray’s impact on balancing higher self with ego suggests that ego awareness may have a greater impact on your overall perspective today with ideology influencing your reactions and perceptions.
