  • The Sun in Pisces; The Moon in Capricorn until Aquarius at 10:36 AM PST
  • Planetary governance: The Sun

Overconfidence or a lack of impulse control can impact your overall goals or objectives today. Issues of security may be affected as well, so carefully evaluate the effect of your actions to avoid getting in the way of your progress. Semisquares between The Sun and both Venus and Mars today reinforce the need for cautious self-expression and a realistic perspective so that you don’t lose support from others. 

Realize that you have a powerful and dynamic influence on others and that allowing higher principles and strong values to guide your decisions helps you avoid an ego response that limits your effectiveness. Work in selfless service to others while investing in expertise that benefits your shared goals. And know that expressing honesty in your relationships with others will foster the same from them.

The numerology for today, as well as tomorrow, indicates new beginnings are possible. Gebo’s influence today suggests that reciprocity is key to new partnerships forming, with Carcer suggesting the need to let go of old ideas or perceptions that limit both awareness and progress. With The Moon in Aquarius and the 11th House of friendships, you feel most secure when relationships with others are both harmonious and inspiring. However, a square between The Moon and Uranus indicates that something unexpected may arise that leaves you feeling unsure of what’s happening.

Although you may be tempted to go it alone, realize that attitude will likely impact harmony or collaboration with others. It may be that you’re feeling too exhausted to meet challenges and you would benefit from allowing others to step up and take the lead. With today’s one numerology continuing from yesterday, you begin the month with new expressions of individuality. Tiwaz, the Elder Futhark rune for today describes the willingness to stand up for or sacrifice on behalf of others. Today’s New Moon in Pisces invokes empathy for others and intentions set on this day for the coming month may reflect new understanding and spirituality. Collaboration with others may be strong with today’s two numerology, and due to the influence of both Jera and Via you feel a new path unfolding in energetic alignment with others. A conjunct between Mercury and Saturn indicates the need for conscientious and careful planning as you go forward.

A focus on the process is recommended so that others feel both respected and represented. If limitations or challenges are experienced, it’s best to allow all voices to be heard. Remain composed, especially if you’re expressing a minority viewpoint. It may be that past experience will be of greater benefit than will a newer approach.

Higher Self informs your self-expression today and you approach others with confidence and clarity. Caput Draconis, today’s geomancy rune, continues this week’s theme of new beginnings and an emphasis on future plans. With the Sun, Moon (for most of the day), and Jupiter, the planet that governs Thursday, all in Pisces, expressions of imagination, intuition, and empathy for others are heightened. And with Jupiter also in the 12th House, you take an inner focus.

You prefer variety and innovation to the drudgery or constraint of the same approach. And although Algiz might suggest that you find a balance between the two, it doesn’t mean you sacrifice your desire for something new.
