Ray Influences

The effect of the seven cosmic Rays essentially impacts the soul/ego balance at any given moment. As the Rays move through the universe and ultimately reach each individual, they color (or influence) our perceptions and behavior. If we perceive our experiences from a soul perspective, then our overall perspective resonates from a higher vibration; whereas, if we react from the standpoint of ego, our resonance becomes lower and more reactive.

The 1st Ray of will and power increases its impact on Tuesday suggesting that the ability to assert oneself or to express one’s will in a positive manner becomes more effective throughout the remainder of the week.

The overall impact of the 2nd Ray of love and wisdom initially suggests that one’s ability to act with love, empathy, and wisdom may have a lesser impact this week. However, with the 6th Ray of devotion and idealism having a severely reduced effect from Tuesday through the remainder of the week, it suggests that wisdom and love may exert a stronger influence on expressions of ideology and fundamentalist devotion.

The 3rd Ray of active intelligence’s moderate impact suggests that instinct and adaptability to change are having a greater influence on our interactions with others and the ability to solve problems than it did last week.

The moderate impact of the 4th Ray of harmony through conflict suggests that the willingness to cooperate with others to find solutions will be average throughout week. And with the disciplined or logical approach to seeking truth from the 5th Ray still having a similar impact, we may still have issues with achieving a shared agreement with others.

Overall, the strong 7th Ray influence on ceremonial order throughout the week suggests that a practical attitude will influence perceptions and decisions.

The Ascendant

Cancer – A feminine/receptive sign, individuals with the Ascendant in Cancer tend to be risk-averse and are less likely to initiate new endeavors. A born nurturer, this compassionate individual takes care of family and friends but may also be given to moodiness.

The challenge involves forgiving the self for judging others. With this placement, we also know what we value or desire, however, how difficult that is to achieve depends upon the balance we strike.

5th House/Sagittarius (6/13) Take time to pursue new ideas and opportunities, but do it in a way that includes fun with others. 

6th House/Sagittarius (6/14) Your focus is on your health today. It may be that your inner balance is off with moodiness a possibility. You may be feeling less assertive than usual and decision-making may be challenging. 

6th House/Capricorn (6/15-16) Stress can result when you feel that you’re attention is focused in too many directions. Take time to allow your focus to settle and go within to seek a better balance between your will and emotions. 

7th House/Aquarius (6/17)  You value the relationships in your life and networking with others is typically gratifying. However, today your emotions may be in flux and spending time in meditation may be helpful.

Although you have a keen understanding of the situation at hand, as your energy wanes somewhat on Monday you benefit from the perspectives that others have to offer as well. This is especially true as Mercury travels into chatty Gemini.

Venus ~ 11th House/Taurus (6/12-18)  Although you typically prefer partners to be more stable or reliable, your relationships become more spontaneous as you embrace the unexpected this week. Beginning Tuesday, a difference of opinion could occur potentially involving finances. Remain open to the ideas of others without compromising your own values and principles. At the end of the week, you may need to reevaluate where you stand with a partner.
