I post the reading notes from the As Above, So Below videos over on Patreon, but for today, I decided to include that same post here because of the integration between the reading and the current Jupiter R opposite The Sun aspect that is impacting all of us.

Reading Notes:

Today’s reading potentially relates to the aspect of Jupiter in retrograde in opposition with The Sun today. Right now, Jupiter is at its closest to the Earth, which hasn’t happened since October, 1963. And in opposition with The Sun, it’s so incredibly bright in the night sky. I mentioned throughout the reading the impact of this aspect between Jupiter and The Sun because it seems that we’re undergoing a shift in perception or beliefs, or at least a loosening of such. And we’re beginning to see that shift play out around the world with people in oppressive countries standing up and saying, no more; or, conversely, we’re seeing fascism rise in countries like Italy. But the point is that it begins within followed by the shift in beliefs that people are experiencing. Will there be integrity at the heart of it, or will there be oppression that many won’t see coming?

Today’s runes from the reading were Raidho (integration, momentum, movement) and Caput Draconis (new beginnings, on the threshold, N Node influence) suggesting that we could be on the threshold of discovering how our beliefs align or integrate with others. Where is the momentum coming from: higher self, or the ego’s control?

Today’s cards were The Hierophant (5, Major Arcana), the King of Wands (Fire, Court), and the 10 of Swords (Air, Minor Arcana) with an overall numerology of 6 or shared path, empathy, guidance, or assistance.

Beginning with The Hierophant, we see the Pope sitting between two pillars. We see triplicities evident throughout the card (3’s), and he sits above two monks showing the relationship between a teacher and students. The Hierophant represents divine mercy, wisdom, and mastery. It reflects idealism and hidden knowledge, and the two crossed keys below show the relationship and integration between knowledge and tradition. And it asks the question, how do we integrate (Raidho) spirituality into our awareness?

Next, The King of Wands sits on his throne holding a staff in his hand. He looks to the past and represents an older man in authority who can be knowledgeable, a wise counselor or mentor, a warrior, or conversely, he can be cruel or bigoted. And the question this card poses involves how we express our own authority in our lives.

Lastly, we have the 10 of Swords which depicts an individual who appears dead on the ground from ten swords that are piercing him in the back. The night appears to be lifting and the light appears to be returning, even though we can’t see the Sun itself. But with this card, it asks us to reevaluate and let go of perceptions or beliefs that involve self-deception and no longer serve, again reinforced by the Jupiter R opposing The Sun aspect.

It’s as if the polarity of beliefs we are collectively experiencing is referenced by the contrast between The Hierophant versus The King of Wands. Do we rise up and see the fundamental truth of who we are in relation to others (Raidho) or do we take our cues from someone who really only has his/her own agenda in mind and then misuses the authority they exert on others?

With Jupiter in retrograde, we can go within and think about inner expansion and where our beliefs take us. Do they allow us to integrate with others or do they foster an us versus them perspective? In opposition with The Sun, we’re given the opportunity to see the truth from a higher perspective. The Sun provides clarity and the light of the Creator allows us to see who we are and whether or not our beliefs are based in love and unity or from a lower vibrational egoic perspective?

I think with so many energies dovetailing together, we’re truly on the threshold (Caput Draconis) of the light of Spirit shining on our beliefs and bringing truth to bear.

Thanks for watching and come back again on Thursday for another edition of As Above, So Below!

Blessings!
