He’s Whining Again And It’s Glorious!!!

He’s whining again and it’s glorious!!! I just read a tweet that said Donald is fussing about Nancy Pelosi “calling the shots”. Apparently, he believes that if Chuck were in charge, he’d get his slatty wall. Right. Never happening.

I love it when men are afraid of women.

It’s fun to watch them quiver and quake at the thought that a woman will take charge, take command, assume authority. We’ve done it forever. We run our households, even when holding down a full-time job or jobs. We pay the bills and do the shopping and we raise the children. In my case, my husband shared in these responsibilities, but many men from Donald’s era do not. And in his case, he believes we need identification to buy milk at the grocery store.

Dude. Just stop talking.

I’ve said this before, but I think Donald lives his life in disconnected moments. It’s why he’s able to lie the way he does. Anyone else would pause a bit when they’re unable to track a full thought, but not him. He can say one thing and then say the opposite and it’s just fine. MSNBC even discussed all of it in segments about “it doesn’t matter”. Nothing does matter to this guy or his supporters. He can do whatever he wants, sound as ridiculous as he wants, and it’s all okay. It’s fine. Nothing he does matters.

He’s also said that if he doesn’t get what he wants, then he’s shutting down the southern border. Never mind that trucks transport goods across the border to Mexico. Never mind that business will be affected. He doesn’t care. But then he lied to soldiers on his trip to Iraq, saying they’re getting a 10% raise. They’re not. He says they haven’t had a raise in years. Another lie.

He lied to soldiers serving abroad. He lied to them. Their so-called commander-in-chief turned the whole thing into a campaign rally. He doesn’t care that it was inappropriate or that the soldiers are not permitted to participate in political events.

That he’s willing to blow up the country to get what he wants should tell us everything we need to know. That Rep. Peter King appeared to excuse the two child deaths in Border Patrol custody as “only two have died” is appalling beyond measure. But then, he’s all too willing to carry Donald’s water and support draconian policies that abuse instead of protect.

But here’s the thing. All of these things do matter. They do. And come January 3rd, we’ll all be reminded of just how much. Nancy has been here before. She knows how to handle these fools and how to get things done. The other thing she knows how to do is to stand back and allow the stain of this man’s election to cover them all.

Sometimes we need a mother to take the reins. Or in this case, a grandmother. She’s raised children and knows all the games that are played. The sad fact is, kids are far more sophisticated in their antics than are adult men. Oh, adult men believe they’re cagey and above it all, but what they fail to comprehend is that women see it all. We watch, and sigh, and then with steely resolve, we clean up their mess.

It’s always been this way. They oppress and we repair. They destroy, we love. Women see the bigger picture because we’ve had to. We’ve had to make ends meet with paychecks that never seem to last the month. My own mother was passed over for a promotion, for a position that management acknowledged she was the most qualified among other applicants, but she was denied the position because she was a woman. That she was a single mother didn’t matter. The man who received the promotion had a wife and children. His wife also worked. My mother was divorced and only asked for $200 per month child support. The judge wanted to give her more. She said, no. She was terrified of my father. She knew better than to ask for what we deserved.

So, Donald can do his best to unnerve Speaker Pelosi. Women everywhere will be watching…and laughing as our collective sunglasses go on.
