Thoth 420

The Thoth deck is my favorite. The colors flow and the artist’s rendition of Crowley’s perspective is brilliant. Lady Frieda Harris brought careful attention to both detail and symbolism that is beyond compare. Crowley changed the names of several cards, changing Justice to Adjustment. Strength became Lust, Temperance became Art, and Aeon replaced Judgment. Adjustment changes the tone of Justice slightly, reflecting equilibrium, balance, or alignment over a more action oriented energy. It’s the power realized in simply holding resonance.

The 7 of Swords represents Futility. Taken with the three cards at the bottom, it indicates standing in one’s own power. It’s an exercise in futility to do anything else, or for anyone to try to dissuade you from your focus. At the foundation, Adjustment represents balance and alignment. She stands unaffected by the chaos around her, and generates none of her own. Understanding control of others is an illusion is depicted by The Devil, while catalytic change illustrated by The Tower is the result of that understanding and alignment. All things are possible.

The Princess of Wands continues the flow begun by the combined structural energy of the lower level as she flows unfettered, expansive and free. She rides the energy, in the moment, allowing the flow to take her wherever she chooses. Reinforcing that flow is the beautiful Ace of Disks, the divine infusion supporting a positive outcome.

Alignment allows us to center before acting, or reacting. Energy flows without restriction as we ride the wave, remaining sure in our focus, standing in our own power, undeterred as we accomplish our goals.

Tarot is cool. There are so many decks to experience and as many or more perspectives and interpretations to consider. The Thoth is different than most, but worth it.

  1. I’ve been browsing online more than 4 hours today, yet I never found any interesting article about like
yours. It’s pretty worth enough for me. Personally, if
all psychics and bloggers made good content as you did, the
web will be much more useful than ever before.
