The High Priestess sits at the entrance to Solomon’s Temple, her foot resting on the Maiden Moon while she holds a Torah on her lap. Behind her is a tapestry depicting pomegranates which signify wisdom and knowledge.

A crown depicting the Maiden, Mother, and Crone phases of the Moon adorns her head. Card two from the Major Arcana, The High Priestess suggests intuition, inner wisdom, and balance. She is the Divine Feminine and embodies our dreams while aligning us in our own Source Presence. She, along with The Magician, provides the impetus and structure of the incarnation of the soul. While The Magician defines our physical/elemental structure, The High Priestess defines our subconscious connection to our higher reality as souls taking the Fool’s leap into form.

Throughout the week, rely on your inner wisdom to guide your decisions and perceptions. Your soul understands its purpose here and going within to access that awareness may awaken you to a higher truth.
