Tarot Card of the Week ~ The Moon

The Moon looks disapprovingly at the dog and wolf barking down below. They represent polarity, and the balance between dark and light, or the civilized versus the wild within. Two towers provide an entryway or portal from the subconscious realm to higher awareness.

The rings that surround The Moon indicate higher vibration as it draws the lobster from the pool below toward a new path toward rebirth and resurrection. The path onward toward the dark mountains in the distance may be filled with deception and illusion, but the spiritual challenge is worthwhile. At the end of the journey, awakening is realized.

For this week, then, The Moon’s counsel is to be aware that deception surrounds you (or which may reside within you). The goal is to see beyond what the ego presents to understand the greater message of the experience. If the deception is an inner one, then you would do well to seek clarity before continuing on.

One Last Reminder About RePosting of My Work

If anyone intends to either quote something I've written, or intends to post any part of my work, including my videos, on any other site, please ask permission before doing so. Any reposting of my work without permission can be considered as copyright infringement, so please ask. And if I give permission, you MUST clearly reference my name as author and my website. No exceptions. The words an author writes are sacred. Unapproved use is not.

Thank you... Jan Erickson
