Magickal uses: courage, self-empowerment, passion, love, healing, use the thorns in witch bottles or mojo bags for protection, creativity.

A faery and witch tree, feel blessed if you have hawthorn growing on your property. Ask permission from the faeries to gather its leaves and flowers in the Spring and its red berries in late summer or early fall.

General Information:

A gentle cardiac herb, hawthorn berries added to an herbal tea blend helps to gently balance circulation. If taking prescribed medication for cardiac issues, however, please consult your doctor before adding hawthorn to your treatment regimen.

Hawthorn contains flavonoids, acids, and tannins. Hawthorn is used as a cardiac tonic and digestive.
