From The Wildwood Tarot, the Eight of Vessels, also known in traditional decks as Cups, is a departure from the Rider-Waite depiction of a man walking away from emotions that no longer serve. Instead, we see eight cauldrons, with one suspended from a tree branch that overhangs the water. Three smaller cauldrons pour water into the larger one while four more sit next to the water’s edge, filled by the larger cauldron.

The 8 of Vessels refers to inner change and renewal, along with healing and rebirth. The past influences the present which, in turn, influences the future as Elemental Water continues its flow through the collective consciousness. And when we’re ready, we move forward and experience new challenges, nourished by our willingness to embark on a new path.

One Last Reminder About RePosting of My Work
