SUMMATION
- Significator runes: Dagaz (23rd rune, day, new day, all doors open, all options available, dawn, endings/beginnings) and Rubeus (misuse of force, vice, violence, manipulation, personal agenda, controlling)
- Cards: 5 of Cups, Temperance, 2 of Wands
- Patterns: There seems to be a relationship between this reading and the prior two readings with the 5 of Cups also in the previous reading, and a similar energy of the 4 of Cups in the reading before that one. Also, last Thursday’s reading had an 11 numerology, Monday’s a 33 numerology, and an initial numerology of 44 for this one, so there seems to be both a magnification and progression of the dual numbers.
- Overall numerology: 23+5+14+2=44; 4+4=8 (inner strength, greater harmony, leadership, material recognition/approval)
With Dagaz, with an overall 5 numerology (23rd rune; 2+3=5) that invokes change, we see an end of one phase and the beginning of another, and with Rubeus, the malevolent instigator of that change or potential transition. As with Monday’s reading, the 5 of Cups seems to be the turning point of the change, with a feeling of being stuck in emotions that are experienced due to an outside force. Temperance reminds you to manifest a higher balance and to keep a more moderate or temperate perspective on the situation, while the 2 of Wands suggests that the beginning of a new phase in your life is about to unfold, and now you have to make a decision about that.
The 5 of Cups could describe a loss of a home, job, or simply the life you’ve been living. But whatever this is for you, it represents a turning point that can, according to Dagaz, represent a new path in life with new opportunities or options in play. A shift in perception is likely a strong component of that turning point as well, so you can let go of the loss you feel, embrace what you’ve learned, and move forward into a new phase of life where your inner strength will help guide you.
