One note about the numerology of the reading before I get started on the summary. Inguz has a 22 numerology, that is, if you look at the rune’s order in the Elder Futhark. 22 is the Master number for the Cosmic Builder, so I believe, given its 22 numerology, the alignment between the Cosmic Builder and the sudden release of potential is evident. Also, I typically do not include any Master numbers in the overall numerology for the reading. The Master number 22 also, in my opinion, represents profound change, possibly from a soul influence. Given the 5 numerology of the 5 of Cups, that may define the reason for the profound change in your life. The initial overall numerology, without the influence of Inguz and its 22 numerology, and without the additional Devil card, the reading has a nine numerology, suggesting endings of some kind. Adding in the 15/6 from The Devil brings that to six, or guidance, empathy, harmony, and shared path, suggesting there could be more support for a new direction in your life than you realize at this time.
Inguz, therefore, brings the potential for manifestation energy into your life, with Fortuna Major suggesting that potential could have a successful outcome. However, you may have to go through some changes before that happens. With the 5 of Cups, clearly something emotionally destabilizing has occurred, after which, you need to consider how the ego played a part in what happened (Devil card). Then, your next step may involve taking stock of the resources you have (inner/external) before a new opportunity arises. However, when that happens, you may discover that you have more support than you realized, and the new opportunity may ultimately be successful.
So, the change you experience, although emotionally upsetting/disruptive, may actually be what’s necessary so you can potentially create a new life for yourself.
